Mixing Textures: Comfy Sweater, Plaid, and Peek-A-Boo Lace
I hope you are having a great weekend. Lacey details are popping up everywhere and I could not help but bring out some older pieces from my closet. I’ve always loved the look of lace and I was looking forward to it’s big come back. For many years, I have kept some of my favorite lace adorn pieces and was not willing to let them go just yet. I was very glad to see lace grace the runways in the past couple of seasons and the online catalog pictures of Zara, Topshop, and Asos.
I picked up this lace skirt many years ago in college. I loved the skirt’s crinkled satin look and peek-a-boo lace hemline. I paired this delicate piece with the rigid structure of the plaid shirt and added a soft comfy sweater. I love mixing textures to get a great finished look.
Thank you again for reading. What trends from the past do you like the most? Let me know and take care.
