Barely Cropped: Cropped Top and Full Skirt

Hey Everyone,

Hope you had a great weekend. The crop top trend is not going away anytime soon. It looks like it going to take us well into the Spring.  Despite the fact that crop tops are summer staples, it’s still wearable for fall with some considerations, higher necklines and longer sleeves. I like to pair mines with full skirts. If you aren’t one to bear the mid riff, like myself, I like to wear it with a wide belt to cover some skin so that it does not feel so bare. Always keep in mind when wearing something tighter and shorter like the crop top, the outfit counter part needs to be looser and more voluminous.

Thank you again for reading. Hope you learned a couple of tips to wear those crop tops proudly. Take care.

Midi Skirts Make a Come Back

Hello All,

I hope you are having a great week. Recently, I have been loving midi skirts. I love its classic cut and worry free length. For petite women like myself, sometimes it is harder to wear a midi skirt without feeling a little overwhelmed. I like to find skirts that I can wear high waisted. I also like wearing nude heels with them because it helps to give the illusion of being taller.

How do you wear your midi skirts? Let me know and share your tips.

A little Fun in the Sun: Crop Top and Brocade Skirt

CroptopBrocade1 CroptopBrocade2 CroptopBrocade3 CroptopBrocade4

Hello Everyone,

Happy Saturday to you!  I woke up to the rustle of wind outside and the sun peaking through the clouds.  I have to admit that as  Summer approaches, the days here start off sunny and end up with  light showers and  wind. One of the major challenges that I have dealt with in the pursuit of taking great pictures for this blog is dealing with the elements on photo shoot day. The sun gets into your eyes, the wind blows everything everywhere, and the rain likes to pop in here and there, and through it all, the face, the clothes, and the pose need to look flawless. It’s work in progress but eventually, I will master the art of taking better pictures.

The crop top is definitely making a comeback. I love to pair it with trouser jeans, flowing skirts, and shorts. Sometimes I like to layer it under jackets and vests. On hot days, it’s a welcomed outfit staple when touring around the island getting pineapple ice cream or “shave ice” desserts or getting lunch at Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck on the North Shore of Oahu.

What comeback trends have you tried lately? Please share your thoughts with me.  Thank you again for reading.

A Walk On The Wild Side: Leopard and Chainmaille Collar

Hello Everyone,
I hope you had an amazing start to your weekend.

I’m not much of a Leopard print kind of girl but I have been on the look out for a pair of Leopard print heels. It’s definitely a classic print that every girl should have in their closet even if it’s just one item. I love the way the neutral colors and design add a bit of personality to a plain outfit or the way the neutral colors are easy to pair with different items.
